About the Role:
Primrose School of South Charlotte is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to inspire and educate children ages 3-4 in a warm, engaging learning environment. Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children ages 3-4
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and daily activities
- Maintain accurate developmental records and documentation for each student
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive school culture
- Enforce classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and school policies
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Required to have a qualified criminal background check letter from the state of North Carolina.
- Previous experience teaching or working with preschool-aged children (ages 3-4)
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
- Warm, nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education
